Challenge your friends: generate a link and find out who's better
You can now challenge any player with a simple link. Here's how it works and why we built it.
What is the challenge system?
We always wanted player comparisons to feel more personal. Before, you had to go to the page, enter both Riot IDs and hit compare. It worked, but something was missing: the thrill of challenging someone directly.
That's why we built the challenge system. The idea is simple: you generate a link with your Riot ID and send it to whoever you want. That person opens the link, enters their ID, and the comparison happens automatically.
How does it work?
Step 1: Generate your link
Go to the Challenge section and enter your Riot ID (name, tag, and region). If you already have your LoL account linked, it fills in automatically.
When you click "Generate challenge link", a unique URL is created with your information. For example:
https://whoisbetter.gg/en/challenge/YourName-TAG-LA2
Just copy that link and send it through WhatsApp, Discord, or wherever you want.
Step 2: Your friend accepts the challenge
When your friend opens the link, they see your profile with your icon, name, and information. They just need to enter their own Riot ID, choose the queue (Solo/Duo, Flex, ARAM, etc.) and accept the challenge.
Step 3: Instant results
The system analyzes the last 15 ranked games for each player and compares 6 key stats: KDA, winrate, CS/min, damage per minute, kill participation, and vision score. On top of that, an AI generates a verdict explaining who performs better and why.
Why did we build this?
We wanted Who Is Better to be more than a stats tool. We wanted it to be a way to compete with your friends without needing to be in the same game.
Think about it: you're in a Discord server and someone says "I'm better than you." Now, instead of arguing, you send them a link and let the data speak for itself.
Tips for using it
- Pick the right queue: For a fair comparison, both players should play the same queue. Solo/Duo is the most competitive
- Share on social media: The link works for anyone, they don't need a Who Is Better account
- Challenge the pros: You can also challenge professional players and streamers from our Pros section
What if I already have an account?
If you already have a Who Is Better account and linked your LoL account, the form fills in automatically. You don't have to type anything, just generate the link and you're good to go.
