What data we collect

Who Is Better does not share personal data with third parties. The service can be used without registration. If you choose to create an account, your data is used solely to improve your experience on the platform.

Authentication

You can sign in with Discord or Google. When you do, we access your username, avatar, and email from the chosen platform. This data is used to identify your account within Who Is Better and is not shared with third parties.

Riot Games data

Riot IDs entered in forms are used to query the Riot Games public API. The statistics shown come directly from the official API. To improve performance, some statistics may be temporarily cached on our servers.

Linked accounts

If you link your League of Legends account, we store your account identifier (PUUID) and its association with your user. This allows us to verify account ownership, display your verified badge, and auto-fill forms. We only access public data from the Riot Games API.

Competitions

When you sign up for a competition, your public Riot Games data (name, tag, region, rank, and stats) is stored to generate comparisons and calculate results. This data is visible to other participants within the competition.

Cookies

Who Is Better does not use tracking or third-party cookies. No advertising or analytics cookies are installed in your browser.

AI-powered analysis

The comparative verdict is generated by an artificial intelligence model using only the public statistics obtained from the Riot Games API. No personal data is sent to the AI model.
